Description: we are doing pop art this term. I am doing it with Kate. We have to use light colours like blues greens and red pinks and yellow. I did a stencil of a dragon and then I copied it down onto a bigger sheet of paper. I have used blues red white and yellow. I did four different dragons so I could paint them different colours. Here is my art I hope you like it and if you o please comment it would be really useful thanks!
Big idea: I wish to share the learning of how when you have to do it your colours complement each other.
Feedback:I think that the detail is very good
Feedforward:i think that you should pick a harder image.
Evaluation: i think I did well and staying in the lines was hard but I thought I could improve on it.
Description: This term we are doing writing in different genres. I am in Troy's writing group. I chose Troy's writing because of my goals and what I was working on I am working on sentences and complex sentences. I am doing my writing about a fish tornado. We looked at a photo for insparation.
I chose to write a narrative. Here is my peice.
Big idea: I wish to share in my story that sharks are mistaken and they do not need to be killed.
Feedback: I like how you put you're persuasion in to a story of interest and death.
Feedforward: I think you could make you're story a bit more message like and other
Than that you're story is all good.
Evaluation: I think I did well proving my point and it was a good peice.
Description: This term we have been doing a production and this term what we are working on showing is ora. Ora= life. We got to choose what group we wanted to be in. There were three testers and they were Troy doing elements and Rebecca doing super heroes and Kate who is doing an out of Africa theme. We are doing a wearable art to show our ideas and what we think about our showing of life ora. I have chosen Troy and my second choice was Rebecca and my third was Kate. I am doing the element fire with Troy.

Here is what I have done so far:
1) The materials that I used to create my garment were: Cardboard, paint, hardened plastic, wood, bottle tops, tinfoil, hot glue and spray paint.
2) The most challenging thing about production for me was: was making my smock.
3) One way I demonstrated a growth mindset during production was: making my mask and smock.
4) Something I am really proud of about production was: my amazing smock
5) Our school vision is to create agency, creativity and excellence. I showed this by: creating my smock.
Description: we have been doing reading in poutama. I am in the sumerising group and sumerising is telling the story in short sentences and in your own words so you don't just take it out of the story because people can read and they might as well just go read it than have you tell them. We have been doing this all year and we go to work shops to get the teachers to help us with thinking about sumerising. I have done a news report sumerising the body art painting going on in Austria. I hope you enjoy it and like it. I did it with James and Logan and Tane.
Big idea: we learnt to sumeris and retell the story in our own words. We did a news report because it's sort of like retelling the story and you do it in your own words and explaining about the body painting.
Feedback/feedforward: My feedforward is that James is looking up a lot and saying um and when he speaks he is not doing it fluently enough.
My feedback is that you talked loud and clear and when you asked the questions and that the questions were good.
Evaluation: I think me and the team did quite well considering we didn't have much time to plan and when we did it we got better at sumerising so I think we did really well and that we had a good experience.
